YAAAWWWWNNNNNNN........

It's been a busy few days.

Went to Jacquies at the weekend. We were supposed to be going ona girls night out, but as usual David managed to prevent it by instsing that every where we went we took Caitlin (as much as I love her she can be a handful when she's tired and fed up). The poor little lass didn't want to be dragged round shops with me and Jacs, and we couldn't talk about the stuff we wanted to talk about in front of the little girl. By the time we got back to the house and had tea we were so knackered that we ended up staying in. We still had fun - at least I did, Jacs looked heavily pissed off the whole time. He tried to palm her off on us when we went to the Trafford Centre too but Jacs put her foot down. He ought to do SOMETHING about looking after his only daughter occasionally.

Works going great still, at least the Micro Markets job is. Andrea is on holiday this week so it's just me and Glan in the office, and he's out a lot of the time so I have the place to my self! Responsibility!!!! He has faith in me... and I aint let him down yet. As far as I know... I miss Andrea though, we have a laugh.

The Post Office is ok. Still not much going on there, but the girls are fun.

I think I may have finally shacken Alen off my back. Last Wednesday he showed up out side the MM office and got in a strop when I wouldn't go home with him. Then I literally ran away from him to catch my train. He hasn't come to meet me from work since. Phew!

Yorkie had fun of his own on Sat night. Typical of him to get cut to shreds on the weekend I leave him alone. He desided that he wouldn't get a taxi home from the Dark Place like everyone else... that it would infact be a better idea to walk home. Shame about the barbed wire he got his ankle tangeled on! Doh!

He brought back a great big K'Nex kit from his place. One that makes a 5 foot tall ball factory jobbie. Which is what I've been doing for the past 4 evenings! Never made anything with K'Nex before and it's GREAT! And it works! So thrilled with me!

Too tired to write any more tonight. Catch you all later! X

Recipe: Pigsty Pie

This is one that we made up, although we are far from the first or only people to make a pie using pork or pork mince and call it a Pigsty Pie. So let's just say that this is our version of it. It smells great and reminds me of stuffing at Christmas, making it feel much more "naughty" than it is! This serves four people and it a nice 9 points per serving. You will need these for the mash: 400g potatoes 400g sweet potatoes 4-5 good sized carrots Salt Pepper Nutmeg Simply chop the roots, boil in salted water until tender, and mash! Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste. The pie filling: 10 sprays low fat cooking spray (e.g. 1 cal) 1/2 lb lean pork mince 2 onions, finely chopped 3 apples, diced 1 leek, chopped 5-6 big mushrooms 2 tbs plain flour 1 tsp sage 1 tsp parsley Salt Pepper 1 vegetable stock cube 1/2 hot water 2 tsp English mustard Fry the onions in the cooking spray until they start to soften, add the mince. Once the meat starts to colour add the apple, leek and mush
