I hate the female body... sometimes (MEN, DON'T READ)

It's not so much that I hate it, as I hate what it does sometimes. I am sure you all already know that I am off the Depo Jab now and am back on the pill after 8 years. it's microgynon 30 for those of you who might want to know. I was really worried about what my body was going to do to me with the switch over. I have heared all kinds of horror stories about coming off the Depo Jab ( good and bad stories here ) like having 6 month long heavy periods and all kinds of nastyness. I hate having periods. That's one of the reason why I started the Depo in the first place! When I think about it, the are plently of things I hate my body doing, like sneezing, hiccuping, and basically anything that it desides to do all on it's own that disrupt what ever I'm doing. Sneezing it a pet hate of mine as I swear it's SO dangerous to sneeze when your driving! Your eyes close and your body spazems... it's can be safe! So the thought of having to spend 1 week out of 4 either st

Back to Babies

*Sigh* I know it's not practical right now, what with being skint, and the wedding looming, but I am feeling SOOOOOOOO broody! Just come back from yet another Bobbin lunch, this time with Jen and baby Adam (1 year old on the 9th), and Jill and baby Morgan (10 weeks tomorrow). I felt so left out being the only girl in the group without a son of my own to cuddle, but I did get plantly of cuddles from theirs. Adam is still teething - 4 months straight now that lads been popping teeth out, and he has a perpetual cold so the poor little love is still just a big bundle of snot and drool! But he is so sweet and nice natured that you forget about the sogginess as soon as he flashes one of his award winning smiles at you. He's learned to hold his own cup, and has started to clap when ever anyone says to - or says a word remotly like "clap" or "hands". He's still playing the "I'll throw this on the floor and make you pick it up" game, although he get

Pissed for the 3rd day in a row

Actually, I am starting to think that I have not actualy been sober since Friday night! Yorkie is on a rare weekend off, so we went back to the Bobbin for Lunch today at 1pm. We were supposed to be meeting Jen and Steph and little Adam after they picked him up from his grans. Unfortunatly the party had continued at Jen and Stephs after the Yorkie House. Jen had passed out in the living room, Steph had accidentally climbed into bed with Woody (a random naked guest) thinking it was jen and had the shock of his life before getting dressed again and sleeping on top of the covers. When Jen woke up she'd gone to the bedroom, stripped off, and then saw there were already two people in the bed, freaked a bit, got dressed and ended up in the guest room with Mobsy! Needless to say they were running a little late, and when they got adam home he ws hyper and sleepy which meant he was grumpy so they took him for a long walk befoe joining us in the pub. We invited Mark & Gemma and Lelly &

Party party party

A busy busy day today! Jacs went home around mid day, she had been invited to Jill's birthday lunch but thought she really ought to get back to her kiddies knowing full well that "lunch" would last until tea time! And she was right! Lunch at the Water Witch, the first time I have ever been which is shameful when you think about how long I have lived in Lancaster, although that said it might well be a long time before i go back when it's £11.00 lunch!!! As well as us and Gary & Jill, Oz, Olly, Big Andy, Sarah & Ray, Sarah T and little baby Morgan were there. Tara and Colin didn't make it (Tara was still too pissed from the night before I think, they were the only ones who HAD to dive up, the rest of us were close enough to walk), and Fran turned up later (as poor Simon has herniated a disk in his neck and couldn't make it). It was a good do though, appart from a drunken mix up that meant Yorkie failed to order food ( muppet!) although he was happy to li

Ann Summers Party 2

Well friday was a storming success I think! There were six uf us in the end; myself and Jacquie, Jill, Sarah, Tara and Jen. Jen was working and could only come late and not stay for long as it's her birthday do on the sat night, but she was a star while she was here modelling most of my outfits for the party. She was so good at it that I am going to hire her to model at my other parties when she is available! We got trashed, absolutly steaming drunk! We tried to play some games, but got so busy with the nattering that we didn't even manage to finish one single game! I think that's a good thing though because it meant we were just getting on with having fun and having a laugh with each other. The games are designed to get people going and break the ice. Clearly not needed! It was odd conversation though, we seemed to contastantly skip between chatting and laughing about sex and vibes one moment, to sharing tips of child rearing and passing round photos of children! I think

Photo of me!

Not posted a photo in ages, and there's a good reason; my skin is AWFUL in winter, and with the weather being as horrible as it has been lately it's been pretty bad. But today I feel quite good about myself. Maybe it has something to do with the new lipsticks I've got myself today, or the fact that the sun has come out, or that I have had a very productive day today or whatever.... I feel good so I thought I'd share! Also, this might be the last time in a while that you see me as a blonde. I'm thinking about going red again for a while. Not forever, maybe just for a few months, I just fancy a change. I used to be a copper-red a few years ago and I loved it so I thought I'd give it another go. All in all today's been pretty good, I've sorted out a load of my Avon stuff and even dropped books off at some new houses, I've been in touch with Ann Summers and my balance is only £7.50 so I don't owe them anything, I've been to the tip and ditched a

Lost friend found?

I am very excited! At the risk of sounding like a total LOON I think I have been found - via blogger - by a very dear old friend of mine from when I was taking my A-Levels. Look back a couple of posts to the "what do I do to men" post, and there's a comment from a guy calling himself Sparkie. Now, there has only ever been one Sparkie in my life, a great friend of mine who was in the same psychology class as me and my ex Shaun. He's such a sweet guy, and so funny too, and I was gutted when I lost touch with him. The last time I saw him it was when he made a flying visit though Lancaster just after I got together with Yorkie. And strangly enough just lately he has been on my find on and off. Infact yesterday, while I was sorting out the junk in my draws that I have in my office, I found some photos of me and the "old gang" with Sparkie on them - handcuffed to my former best mate as it happens. I saw it and thought "Jeez, I wish I could get in touch with S

Towneley Wedding Fair #2

Hee hee hee.... I guess I was a little cruel really. On Sunday we went to the wedding fair over at Towneley Hall. Mum had asked me to go ages ago, and had asked me to bring Yorkie. I had invited Jacquie too. But of cause the night before I had held my first Ann Summers party, and kicked Yorkie out for the night. He had come home at 4.30 am, pissed out of his skull and randy as hell, so we didn't actually get to sleep until day break. Because we were meeting Jacquie at my mothers at 10am, we had to set off from my house no later than 9, I set the alarm for 7..... we got out of bed at 8.30 (he was horny again, what can I say?). We got to my mum's at 10.30 and poor jacs had been sat out side in her car for ages... she's arrived early (oops!) Yorkie - bless his cotton socks - was still rat-arsed! And we'd missed breakfast so I took us into town for a Mc Donalds A) to make up to Jacquie for being so late, and B) to shut Yorkie up

Ann Summers party number one

Not my finest hour...... although we did have fun in the end. People I invited: Jacs Andrea Fran Sarah Jill Tara Gemma Lelly Jen Debbie Marie Jacs couldn't get over, Andrea was away for the weekend for hubbies birthday, Sarah and Jill already had plans, Fran and Tara cancelled at the last miniute, Marie couldn't make it so Debbie couldn't get a lift..... That left jen, Gemma and Lelly. To say I was gutted would be an understatment, but in all fairness I do have a second one planned in two weeks for people who couldn't make it to this one. Most people gave me good reasons for not coming to this one... and the wives and girlfriends do prefer to do stuff together so the fact that two of them already had plans did relistically mean that they would rather come to one of these together - and Sarah had said that they would all love to meet Jacs and Andrea anyway who will (hopefully) be coming to the second party. I kicked Yorkie out at about 10 to 8 (it's a legal thing, be

What do I do to men???

Got an email from my friend Angela the other day (hi angie by the way) with a comment in it which sent me into fits of giggles.... probably due to histeria than genuine humer. A lad I went out with for a very short time when i was about 14 or 15 called Joe back when I used to "hang out" round Angies and go to the under 18's disco (hee hee hee, ok, we only went like 2 or 3 times) is..... wait for it... GAY That's now a grand total of 5 gay former boyfriends. Think I'll go and have a quiet word with my hubby to be, just in case there's something HE needs to tell me before the big day. Not counting him, I can only think of 3 lads I have been out with who are NOT gay! Time to book another appointment with the shink I think............................ *bibble*

Parents visits

I've them them both this week already, and it's only wednesday! Mum came round on Monday, she's been to Lincolnshire last week with John on a free holiday he scored from work, and she's brought us some local cheeses and honey (yummy yummy!). She only stayed about 3 hours, which I was gutted about, but she's not much of a natterer. Yorkie had bought me the movie of "Phantom of the Opera", which me and mum love and have seen on stage 3 times already, so I put that on and we watched that togther. It was really nice, but the wether stared to get bad (hail stones, rain AND sleet, great for April isn't it!) so she wanted to get off before it got any worse. it's fair enough considering her eye sight now, and the fact that as much as I love her, her driving skills are unnerving at the best of times! On Tuesday I got a call from Fay to say she and Dad were coming over... in fact they had set off! This pisses me off! Mum arranges to come round on a day that&

Glad not to be single!

So I went out the other saturday with Debbie, Marie and Debbie's friend Helen. Debbie and Marie are both "single and looking", Helen is attached but I've never met her before. As Yorkie was going out with Ray for the night I thought calling Ray's missus Sarah and asking her to come out with me would be a good idea! Apart from the fact that I want to get to know Sarah a little better as she is the one from the "wives and girlfriends" I know least well, I wanted to have some one else to talk to who wasn't on the pull and who I knew! Luckily she said she's come, and we got on pretty well all night so that was a winner. And I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad she came! Being out with single people on the pull when you are really not interested in pulling is a challenge! Because they are giving off "on the pull" vibes, we all get hit on. And what a cracker I pulled!!! I got chatted up by some guy who sells tracktors online..... Whoopie. I kept flashing
