RUSSIAN BRIDE ALERT!

Ok, I know I haven't mentioned this, but to be honest, I've had a bit of a giggle and then let it lie... Last week I was working a couple of late night so I couls have a day off this week. Naturally me and Glenn got to chatting about all kinds of daft things. This included the time when he and Alison were apart and he nearly married a Russian Bride he's met through the internet. Now, I just fell about laughing and told him about the guy in the brown cow with his oriental mail order, and about Ray and his dable in the Russian Bride sites. I don't remember how, but me and Andrea got onto the subject of Glenn and this Russian woman, and how Alison is still really peeved about the whole thing. They seem to ahve been falling out reather a lot lately and we wondered if maybe he'd got back in touch with the Russian woman. Well, guess what happened today! Sat in the office, chatting away, getting on with some work, nice, quiet normal day... young lass walks in (late 20'

Oo!

Here's something odd. Gave my ex a passing thought on the 14th - his birthday - and suddenly he's added me to his hotmail buddy list and want to get in touch! Spooked! (He's gay by the way... so don't anyone be thinking anything daft)

YAAAWWWWNNNNNNN........

It's been a busy few days. Went to Jacquies at the weekend. We were supposed to be going ona girls night out, but as usual David managed to prevent it by instsing that every where we went we took Caitlin (as much as I love her she can be a handful when she's tired and fed up). The poor little lass didn't want to be dragged round shops with me and Jacs, and we couldn't talk about the stuff we wanted to talk about in front of the little girl. By the time we got back to the house and had tea we were so knackered that we ended up staying in. We still had fun - at least I did, Jacs looked heavily pissed off the whole time. He tried to palm her off on us when we went to the Trafford Centre too but Jacs put her foot down. He ought to do SOMETHING about looking after his only daughter occasionally. Works going great still, at least the Micro Markets job is. Andrea is on holiday this week so it's just me and Glan in the office, and he's out a lot of the time so I have th

Still love that job!

It's been a good couple of days since I wrote last. Like Yorkie's birthday for a start! HAPPY 32ND BABE! I managed to get a great deal on buying him some PS2 stuff and a copy of Silent Hill 3 - thanks to my WONDERFUL staff discount. Can't tell you how much coz I promised to keep it quiet - and it'll only make you all sick anyway! hahaha! We weren't gonna go out friday (his birthday) even thoughI had offered a huuuuge choice of things to do - like house party/pub with his mates/meal out/cinema... well, anything he wanted really, but he maintained that he didn't want to do anything, just stay in, the two of us alone with Slint Hill.... sweet eh? Dull though. I mean, I love Silent Hill, but you should do SOMETHING for your birthday. So HOORAY for Mark when he rang up - having sneaked out of hospital under the pretense of buying a hot choc from the machine - asking if we fancied a drink in the Ring O Bells. Well, you just cant turn down a man on the run from the doc

The new job!

Well, I would have written yesterday, but I was completly whipped out when I got home. You see, yesterday was the first day of my new job as Internet Sales Manager for Micro Markets!!!!! YAY!!! And it was great! But the day before I had been caught out in the freezing cold, wind, rian and sleet in Morecambe when my train was cancelled and after working two jobs yesterday all I wanted to do was go to bed. So I did! This job is great though. I know I'm only doing the starting stuff now and I'm not really managing yet as I have no one to manage yet, but the work is good. I've been learning all about the different sales methods, doing research into the stuff we sell - comparing costs and basiclly how good the stuff is, and then making sure all the photos look really good and putting them up for auction. Still at the post office though for the next few weeks. But everyone seems to have good things to say about me. Mike - the post office manager - was saying to me today how Micro

YAY, YAY and YAY again!

Well, it's been a good couple of days. Last night was great fun. The food was all cooked right and I didn't poison anyone as far as I know. Today was even better. I GOT THE JOB! I start on Tuesday, but only half days while I'm still at the post office. That'll be the next 5 weeks. He was really impressed that I was loyal to my current job. Really impressed that I didn't mind - infact wanted - to start low down in the job doing the 'menial' jobs to start with with. Really impressed that I know how to network pc's and install hardware. I'll start by doing the smaller stuff, cataloging stock, taking pictures of it for the web, paking and sending it out to customers. I'll be handling the cutomer side throughe-mail and phone, and selling stuff through ebay and later through amazon. Later I'll be managing other staff, getting them to do the smaller jobs while I start to work more on selling through the sites, researching products and prices. Eventu

The key for the till mysriously reappeared in a locked draw this morning... along with the missing stamp bag. But the till draw had been tampered with and wouldn't close properly... Mmm... Something dodgy going on. I jut hope they dont try to pin it on me - with me being a temp and everything. Having said that the day hasn't been too bad at all. A new till arrived which proved to be further fun and games. Our branch has won a 'best sales' award as so we all get a bottle of wine, even me! And I got invited tot he staff x-mas do, even though I wont be there for x-mas. Aint that sweet? Made a new life long friend today too. One of the regulars, Alan Hawksworth, 72, enlisted my help in installing a CD copying program called CloneCD (which I happen to know a little about) on his computer. I swore I was only going to be there for 10 mins, 30 at the most. I was there ALL AFTERNOON! But he's a really interesting bloke. Been married three times, lived in 12 countries, got fa
