More PC problems....

Mack brought the PC back in today and it's all hooked up and hunky dory, until I put Norton on. I closed it, leaving it till tomorrow!! Did some more web site stuff, but there's something wrong with the main PC too now, the cursor is SO slow and jerky, and now so is the responce to the keyboard. So I gave up on that too and did some packing for the weekend's move.Fed up with it all again.Gonna chat to Zack, post a DA post and play some games for a bit I think. HOWEVER!!!!!! Good news is that Yorkie starts his job all officallike - ON MONDAY!He's gonna be on basic for a few month, and wont get paid till the end of the month, but I'm SOOOOOO happy for him! Well done baby!

Fume fume fume

Remember when I said "this must be one of the worst days on record" no so long ago? Srub that! Today was worse! I took an hour to get to work today - where as yesterday took only 12 mins. Why? Because some arsehole thought it would be a great idea to set fire to our local chemical plant - which just happens to be halk way between home and work! It was tourched about 6am, and is still buring now, over 12 hours later. When I get in, sure enought, Glenn has brought in his home pc for us to use until the other one is fixed. Off I go and set it up (with Claire getting in the way). Only I find that there is no network port in this PC. Nice of Glenn to notice and tell us. I pick out a newtwork card from the stock I have in (atually, one of 4 of the only one we have at the mo) and install it. PC proptly DIES! Glenn accuses me of infecting it through the network. I "gently inform" him that I have not even connected the network cable to his useless fucking machine! He finds i

The wedding, and other such stuff!

After work on Firday me and Yorkie went up to the Scarthwait Hotel to help Sarah set up for the Reception. SHe's made some beautiful decorations which she finished assembling and so on when we got there. She showed m how she wanted the table decorations setting out and I did that for her,and Yorkie and I helpped with one of the fairy lights on a trellace screen for he back of the dance floor. It all looked lovely even before the actual reception. Yorkie went off to Simons to meet him and the other lads and help keep Simon company before the big day. We went to pick Mark and Gemma up for the big day - and even though we did arrive on time - Mark was apparently too late to be the usure. Never mind though, it all went well. Poor Fran was a nervouse wreck when it came to walking down the ailse, poor lass practically RAN dragging poor Jordan (her nephew who gave her away - bless) behind her! And then she burst out laughing at the "ny reason why there two should not be married"

Sick of it ALL!

Today has to be one of the worse on record for work - not the fault of the job, just of other people cocking things up, and butting in! Me and Andrea are both pissed off! Poor Andrea has spent HOURS trawling through web sites for Glenn, looking for new disply cabinets for the new shop, following his instructions. Then he changed his mind. So she spent another few hours doing the same again. Then Glenn went back to the first people, and asked them to make them to spec. THEN Clie calls, and says that he has bought the wood to build the cabinets that Glenn asked him to build. Glenn had forgotten all about asking Clive to build them! Much growling later, Glenn cancels the order with the web people, and Clive is (thankfully) making them - so long as he doesn't change his mind AGAIN Meantime, "uncle Neil" comes into the office - gets in the way, stinks the place out, follows me around and perves down my shirt! I desided that today would be a good day to find out which of the ga

Sooooo tired!

Have installed an internet securty program on the works PC - which cocked up all my networking, but hey, what's another hour of networking??? It has found a load of problems that nothing else shifted, and set up some better firewall protection. I have loads of errors to fix tomorrow. I'll have to run the disk clean-up and defrag on thursday night too.Had the horrible shock of Alison-Slag first thing this morning too - which I could have done with out! LUCKY SHE DIDN'T STAY! She tried to get me going by saying I had to set up the market - she didn't expect me to agree though HA! Glad she was joking mind, really don't want to do that job! And she had the never to laugh at the way I was dressed - she ought to look in a mirror sometimes - flabby flesh hanging out everywhere! At least I look good in my office clothes!Managed to update the N64 games on the web site - got a few more titles now (anyone wanna buy them?????)Finally managing to catch up with some friends on MS

Jacquie!

I took friday off as a holiday to try and sort out this damned house - how two people can totally fill a 3 bedroom house with tat is beyond me, but Yorkie and I seem to have managed it! I finally made it habitable towards the back end of Friday afternoon. Jacs came over part way through Saturday - no David though. She's looking really great though, her "bump" is HUGE (well, it seems huge to me on Jacs tiny frame) but she looks really well. Caitlin is as chatty as ever! We went to Blockbusters and got a couple of DVDs and did a bit of snack shopping (bang goes the diet for ths week), and sat around chatting and catching up. Felt like we hadn't been apart! Went to town for a bit on Sunday, had a pub lunch and did a bit of shopping then came back for more movies and food. She went home this morning, we dropped her at the train station on the way to work, and I miss her already. Even though she was here two nights, it seems like I hardly saw her. I guess this is what happ

Weekend......

Did bog all on Friday - which I was gutted with coz I knew I wouldn't see much of Yorkie over the weekend. Saturday morning: Shopping HELL! Dropped Yorkie off at work and came back to Lancaster to do some shopping for this hen-night. Spent hours trapcing round, and found NOTHING! Actually, that's not trye, I bought two tops which were on sale, but neither were suitable for the night out - too hippy / gothy. I like them.... I was all for wearing my black strappy pants (bits hanging off ALL OVER) and my red/black/white Sud Ex top, which gives me Lara Croft tits, and I got a call off Sarah. Telling me she's bought a blue strapless dress with chocolate dots on, and that Fran was wearing jeans - but Designer £80.00 jeans! And a floaty girly glam top. Looked down at my out fit. Pouted! So for the next two hours I'm pouring over my old clothes - bagged up and ready to be shipped off to various charity shops or to get flogged on eBay - until I find the one girly glam top I have

FLASH! Ahh-Ahhhhh....!

I've spent ALL day playing with the Macromedia Flash program, making more stuff for the compnay web site. Made a twee little promo animation. Not something I would normally be proud of as a piece of art work, but it's great for the site - short, sweet, to the point - and it's not too big a file ( I hope anyway ). Also had fun singing alone to tunes in the office - laughing at lost postmen who couldn't find the office - looking for new sexy clothes off eBay - and generally titting about! lol Still need to buy a new outfit for this damned hen night tomorrow though - guess I'll have to go shopping in the AM, but I really can't be bothered. Still, I'll have to kill 2 hours some how, so I might as well shop *sigh* It's hard being a woman!

Road trip!

Hee hee.... went to Kendal today! Me and Andrea - Gemma chose not to go, it being a free listing day on eBay and all. You see, Glenn turned up early this morning - just as I was about to call him, and finally took me up on my offer of taking the stock out to the outlets. So off we went! Shame it was chucking it down, and I was dressed up smart (light purplr trews and my sexy doll shoes). I was soaked up to the knees before I even got to my car, and haven''t really dried out all day. Met Roy and Phil - neither looked ANYTHING like we thought! I espected Roy to be small and blond, but he was taller than me (doesn't say much) with dark hair, ginger beared and glasses (sounds like my feller, but my Yorkie is sexy!). I though Phil would be tall, thin and dark, but he's short, not thin, with mousy wavy hair. Dissapointed really! (Sorry guys!) We hung out there for a bit and went to Lancaster, introduced Andrea to the lads on the Market, had a laugh and went back to the office

Wahh and wahh some more

The only good news is the Jacs called last night and she is coming over a week from sat, with family in tow (guess I'll have to clear out the spare room - doom) Spent all day from getting into the office till about 1.30 going through various spybot and adware programs trying to get these bastard computers going right again. Gemma's was fine until about 4.30 - and it crashed again. Mine still had mad pop-ups every few mins, regardsless of pop-up blockers etc. Dave Cruthers is coming to have a look late tomorrow, and he has a feeling he knows what it is - and it cannot be killed! (well, not yet anyway). Glenn is continuing to wind me up in a variety of ways - even though he didn't come in today - and I don't really want to make a list of HOW he's annoyed me, coz I'll just get mad again. Oh, and we're all sick

3 YEARS ALREADY!

As of tonight, me and Yorkie will have been together for a whole 3 years! Seems like no time at all too. Not really doing much to celebrate, what with it being a week day and not having much cash as I have to fix the car and sort out stuff for Fran and Simons EXPENSIVE wedding - just a nice quiet night in the two of us with a bottle of wine and a tasty meal. All very sweet and VERY settled, lol! I've finally had to bite the bullet and call Dave Cruthers today, in a last ditch attemp to fix those bastard computers at work. I though I had them fixed - but OH NO! Doom and destruction - Gemma's computer is still as good as DEAD! He's got me to try a few last things as he can't get to it until Thursday, but none of it seems to work - grrrrrr I did have a nice little chat to Lynn though - ie a good slag off of Alison. She seems very much up for the "us girls taking Glenn out for a few drinks" idea that me and Andrea have toyed with..... although maybe I should have

heehee

Popped into the the Bobbin for a "swift one" after work on Friday. Gemma had arranged to meet Mark there, and I suggedtes nipping in for a pint before toddling back home via the Chinese take-away. That was about 6ish We made it home about 1am!!!! Had a damn good night though. I met one of Yorkie's old mates Lee - nice bloke! He used to live in Worsthorne, which is the next village to the one I grew up in over Burnley way, and we had a good laugh about the state of my old home town, laughed about cats, drinking stories and crazy exes. Sadly him and his misses are about to move to the Isle of Man (where he's from originaly) so we aren't gonna see much more of them, even though right now they apparently live about three streets away! Also bumped into an old mate of mine called Pete - not really a mate any more I have to say. All the time I thought he was being supportive for me through my break up with my ex, he was actually trying to get into bed with him. Luckily S

WAH!

Gutted! Lost NO weight this week. Might have something to do with all the Sensations crisps I ate last weekend (DOOM!) Never mind - I'll do better next week! I was right about Glenn changing all the Trust Item prices on me too. I've spent two days making math formulas and new web page listings, and today - less than an hour before the end of the working day - he tells me to change them!!! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN! I have also been fighting with PC No 2 all day - riddled with virus it is - well, was! HA! I won! Killed them all DEAD! Did a disk clean up, ran the defrag, and now it works. Even eBay came back last night after I left work for the dentist.... So I don't hate computers as much as I did. for now anyway.
