Some people are just nasty

And for no reason at all....

Get this eBay customer I have at the moment. He's a new member (I wont show his user name), and he's really getting on my tits, even though I am being very nice to him:

Orginal Auto-Generated Message, sent when I had been waiting two weeks for payment:

An Unpaid Item dispute has been opened for the following item: URBAN WAR - PUBLICATIONS - ISSUE "3" (#8700241372)
Reason given for Unpaid Item: The buyer has not paid for the item.
Buyer actions reported by seller: Other reason.

*Note: "Other Reason", I can put "No Contact" "Refuses To Pay" and any number of other reasons, but as at one point I was contacted to say payment had been sent, I was nice.

Customer:

I have already paid for this item using check or money order. Payment details are as follows:
Check number: **********
Amount: £6.00
Payee: charlotte oaks
Payment date: 07-Oct-2005
I don't know if this check has been cashed.
Additional comments: i have sent this payment last wednesday ,i emailed yourself ,to let you know why it hadn't been sent
,as my wife forgot to send it to you ,as this is nowa week .im wondering myself where it has got to

Customer:

i have sent payment to you ,i wish to know where my magazine is

Me:

Hello
I did get your email saying you had sent it, but as of yet I have not had your payment. Feel
free check with your bank, and see that we have not cashed your cheque. You may wish to cancel it as
it has failed to arrive.
I do still have your magazine on hold for you, however, I will have to
re-list it if we cannot arrange a payment by the end of the weekend. If you wish to continue with the
sale please let me know and I will hold it for you for a few more days.

Customer:

this is the third time i have stated i have paid for the item, i am going to check with the post
office first thing tomorrow to see if the payment has been cashed, and find out exactly where and
when, and i will be letting you know,

Me:

Hello.
I think that would be advisable. It is not impossible that your payment has become lost in
the post or stolen. Please let me know the outcome, and, again, if you still wish to continue the
sale.

Now, is it just me, angered by the fact this guy is making out that I am ripping him off, or is the tone of his message really arsey?!! Why would I rip some one off for £6.00???

I tell you, I'll be waiting to see if this cheque cleared (if it ever shows up) before I send out his magazine! This guy seems to me like he's trying to be a con man, only without the itelligence to do i right!

Now, eBay is allowing me to give this guy a "Non-Payer" strike, and as of yet, I have not done this. If he continues to be an arse, I will, and I'll leave Neg feedback too. I know that means he'll leave it for me too, but I'll risk it. All my other feedback is glowing, and people who click on it will see that he's an arse!

This is very true, lol. As it happens, as soon as this guy saw the non-payer strike, he's been trying to pay! I'll gladly let him. After all, a sale is a sale. AND I get to walk away knowing that I was in the right the whole time. I'll be sending it with secure post though!

Sounds like the lad's a bit of a wanker. Why would anyone try to rip anyone else off for a paltry 6 quid? Funny also how he's already paid and getting irate but when you call his bluff with a non pay he rolls right over eh?

Wedding List.... (OMG)

A new kitchen.... Really! We need one! So I've been saying to people that we'll want either B&Q or Ikea vouchers... Only I can't say which yet because I haven't choosen which one I like best: B&Q Oak Shaker style: ( on froogle ) ( on their site ) Ikea: Tildaholm BECAUSE... our kitchen is REALLY badly laid out, the storage is dropping to bits, the seal round the sink is black and festering, the oven hasn't worked for YEARS (the hob and grill are ok though), the seal on one of thef ridge doors has gone too, and the floor... half tiled, half bare concret! But now I have to choose which one I like best, and get the measurements sorted out, and then get the prices for what I can have in the space we've got... PHEW!

Recipe Review: Hairy Bikers liver & bacon with onions & gravy

I need a bit of comfort food at this time of year. I really love this recipe from The Hairy Bikers:  Liver and bacon with onions and gravy  and freely admit that I have whipped this from the BBC Food website. I follow the recipe (but sometimes chuck some mushrooms in too) and split it four ways at 11 pro points per serving. It's a classic, and even my 6 year old likes liver cooked like this - the 4 & 2 year olds need a little extra ketchup to convince them. The Hairy Bikers’ traditional liver and bacon makes a simple supper packed full of flavour and bursting with vitamins and minerals Ingredients 450g/1lb lambs’  liver , sliced and fully thawed if frozen 25g/1oz  butter 2 tbsp  sunflower oil 4 tbsp  plain flour 1  onion , halved lengthways and sliced 125g/4½oz rindless streaky  bacon  rashers, each cut into 4–5 pieces 1  beef stock  cube 500ml/18fl oz  jus t-boiled water 1–2 tsp tomato  ketchup salt and freshly ground  black pepper Preparation method Rinse the liver in a cola
