Ann Summers party number one

Not my finest hour...... although we did have fun in the end.

People I invited:
  • Jacs
  • Andrea
  • Fran
  • Sarah
  • Jill
  • Tara
  • Gemma
  • Lelly
  • Jen
  • Debbie
  • Marie
Jacs couldn't get over, Andrea was away for the weekend for hubbies birthday, Sarah and Jill already had plans, Fran and Tara cancelled at the last miniute, Marie couldn't make it so Debbie couldn't get a lift..... That left jen, Gemma and Lelly.

To say I was gutted would be an understatment, but in all fairness I do have a second one planned in two weeks for people who couldn't make it to this one. Most people gave me good reasons for not coming to this one... and the wives and girlfriends do prefer to do stuff together so the fact that two of them already had plans did relistically mean that they would rather come to one of these together - and Sarah had said that they would all love to meet Jacs and Andrea anyway who will (hopefully) be coming to the second party.

I kicked Yorkie out at about 10 to 8 (it's a legal thing, because of the stuff for sale and on display it is considered to be an "orgy" if men are present, and then therefore illegal!). Jen arrived first, then Lelly, and finally Gemma.

I skipped the whole "thank you for coming, this is what we're going to do" gubbins that you are supposed to do and launched into passing out the vibs and dildos, and the catalogues.

We did have a good laugh though. we played three games, including "best blow job" where I got the three of them to try to blow up balloons and then pop them, the first on to do it wins. Gemma was the only one of the three of them who could! Jen's a smoker, and Lelly likes a joint, and smokers lungs just couldn't hack it, lol!

Actually Gemma kicked butt on all the games and was crowned Queen Floozy at the end of the night. Lelly and Jen both bought something, and all three of them promised to come to the next party and buy more stuff because it's the end of the month then and they all get paid (YAY!)

Jen and Gemma left around 12 or 1 am and shared a taxi, Lelly stuck around till about 2ish and we watched a movie, neither of us being in the mood to be sat in an empty house waiting for our drunken men to come home (they were all out togther).

So I guess, despite my misgivings and strop about people cancelling last minute, I did actually have a really really good time!

Roll on the next party!

Oh, the day after I went to a wedding fair at Towneley with Yorkie and Jacquie, you can read about that on my wedding blog

Recipe: Pigsty Pie

This is one that we made up, although we are far from the first or only people to make a pie using pork or pork mince and call it a Pigsty Pie. So let's just say that this is our version of it. It smells great and reminds me of stuffing at Christmas, making it feel much more "naughty" than it is! This serves four people and it a nice 9 points per serving. You will need these for the mash: 400g potatoes 400g sweet potatoes 4-5 good sized carrots Salt Pepper Nutmeg Simply chop the roots, boil in salted water until tender, and mash! Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste. The pie filling: 10 sprays low fat cooking spray (e.g. 1 cal) 1/2 lb lean pork mince 2 onions, finely chopped 3 apples, diced 1 leek, chopped 5-6 big mushrooms 2 tbs plain flour 1 tsp sage 1 tsp parsley Salt Pepper 1 vegetable stock cube 1/2 hot water 2 tsp English mustard Fry the onions in the cooking spray until they start to soften, add the mince. Once the meat starts to colour add the apple, leek and mush
